All of our computers that we supply are pre-tested and we offer an on site repair service for minor repairs and that is normally the same day service if we are contacted in time to reach your place of business/home during normal trading hours. But for larger repairs it may be necessary to take your computer back to base for major repairs and testing, but all repairs are done as soon as possible so you are not subject to prolonged down time and before any computers are removed from your work place/home all your data is saved where possible so you will not lose any of your valuable data that is always irreplaceable as this is the most valuable part of any computer system or network. We can replace an entire computer network within two working days but we are unable to retrieve any of your data in the event of fire or theft and if you are in business this is the most valuable part of any computer system particularly if your private business data was to end up in your business competitors, possession. When it proves impossible to save your data on site we will undertake to recover all your data at base and if it proves necessary we are capable of sending the affected hard drive off to have the data recovered in a speedy and secure manner. (This however means the destruction of the hard drive and the possible voiding of any warranty on that piece of hardware as well as the replacement of the hard drive but for business work this may be the only alternative to recover vital data. We also recommend that if there is any vital DATA on the hard drive that it be destroyed rather than breach DATA SECURITY MEASURES that we advise about.)
We also specialize in repairing/upgrading existing computer networks or adding additional work stations. In addition, specialize in upgrading/repairing computers so you can be sure that your computer network or computer is always running at peak efficiency. Of course all repairs are subject to parts availability as some of the older computers no longer are able to be supplied with some vital parts. However, we make every attempt to repair or upgrade your existing computer and what may at first appear to be a simple repair could turn out to be a major upgrade. In this way we can maintain your existing Operating System/Software and still comply with Microsoft's {End User Licence Agreement} or as Microsoft call it the EULA which you are legally obliged to comply with. In the event of a major upgrade we also offer the alternative of supplying new Microsoft Operating Systems and Software and since some of the Microsoft Products have reached the end of their life cycles and will no longer be supported by Microsoft it may be in your best interests to not only upgrade the computer but also the Operating System and Software at this time as it is far cheaper to have Original Equipment Manufacturer Software supplied when repairing/upgrading than to have to buy these products later in full retail form.
We will not break any laws in supplying PIRATE Operating Systems or Software particularly Microsoft Products. This protects both you and us from prosecution by Microsoft or any other company whose Software you may be using. For further information on this subject you can contact Microsoft's Anti-Piracy hot line on 1800 63 99 63 or you can contact the vendor of your Software at the address or phone number that is in the Manuals that come with your software.
We can also undertake any insurance work required by your company/you and work with your insurance company to have a speedy and suitable solution for your needs in the shortest possible time that your insurance company allows.
Special Notice regarding Virus Infections:-
Were possible any virus infections are removed on site but in severe cases it may require the total reloading of the complete Computer Network/Computer depending on what Virus Protection measures where originally taken, however we will attempt to remove any Virus infections on site with our most up to date Virus Protection Programs. This however is a costly and time consuming job so we always recommend that you use the very best Virus Protection Programs and follow the very best Virus Protection measures as stated in the literature that comes with your Virus Protection Software. We also recommend that you regularly update your Virus Definitions as suggested by your software supplier, but if possible we recommend that at least once a week you do a Virus Definition Update to totally protect your computer network/computer.
AS A SPECIAL SERVICE TO ALL OF OUR CLIENTS.
All clients are notified by E-Mail when a dangerous Virus becomes active or is detected, but only once it has been confirmed from a reputable source that the existence of this Virus/Worm/Trojan, is real. In this way we do not promote any panic from unconfirmed Virus Reports. Where a client does not have an active E-Mail account a letter is posted to them but it is preferable to receive any notification directly from us by E-Mail so as to prevent any possible infection as E-Mails arrive within seconds of being sent and do not rely on the Post to deliver the information. All Virus notifications are only warnings of this Virus and we suggest you contact your Virus Protection Software Provider for a solution to prevent any Infection or to repair any Infection you may have got. We do not offer any fixes for reported Viruses as these are always better left to your Software Provider and in some cases recently there have been bogus Virus Fix reports circulated which if implemented adversely affect your Computer and may even cause it not to work.
Guarantee Information:-
As a general rule there is a 12 {twelve} month on site guarantee with all our custom built computers, but be aware because of the high quality components that we supply some individual parts have up to a five year warranty. For example the Motherboards that we use have a three {3} year guarantee so while there may be a small labor charge you would get this part replaced free in the event of a failure.
Currently we are also working on complying with the new proposals on recycling used and damaged computer equipment so it doesn't end up as LANDFILL where it can cause pollution and adverse side effects to the environment. We are hoping that by voluntary offering this service it will save you considerable amounts of money when it comes time to finally dispose of any computers that you may have. We are looking at incorporating the recycling costs into the initial purchase price so you have no ongoing expense or disposal fees incurred when it comes time to dispose of your computer/s.
As well as a secure disposal method of any of your existing computers when they reach the end of their working lives.
